Western Industrial Contractors (“WIC”) designs and builds large-scale engineering and construction solutions for airports, warehouses, and shipping centers. WIC builds conveyor belt systems for the world’s largest shipping companies, constructs airport baggage management systems, and everything in-between. WIC makes products that make the world move.
Since 2008, EMJD has made metal products for WIC. EMJD makes brackets, bumper rails, screen clips, wire trays, and panels for their conveyor systems.
“Everything we've gotten from EMJD has been perfectly made,” said Richard Sharpless, exotic metals shop foreman with WIC. “Quality and communication and delivery time is on-target without exception. Zero complaints."
Working with a large-scale infrastructure company like WIC is a challenge EMJD’s team relishes. The ability to contribute to critical airport and shipping projects enables people and products to move around the globe a bit more smoothly.
“We love fabricating parts for Western Industrial Contractors,” said Chris Horst, vice president at EMJD. “They’ve grown exponentially over the last few years and now fabricate a lot of their parts in-house, but we continue to have opportunities to serve WIC when their equipment is at-capacity or out of commission for any reason. We like being part of their manufacturing contingency plan.”
From baggage automation components to mining and excavating industrial parts, EMJD has the experience and 50+ year track record of supporting industrial and infrastructure projects by delivering exceptional parts to exceptional companies.
