Roof Racks that Rock

A frustrated neighbor, Ron, walked into our shop a few weeks ago with four broken mounts for his truck's roof rack. Made from cheap materials, all the factory mounts (pictured below) bent or snapped while Ron traversed the Front Range.

Ron is a window, roof, and siding craftsman and lugs heavy equipment throughout the region, which puts significant stress on low-quality components. He walked in with a basic concept of what he needed: The mounts needed to be thicker, made from stronger material, and built to sustain the elements.

One month after that initial visit, Ron walked out with four heavy-duty .25"-thick stainless steel roof rack mounts. These mounts will withstand the stress of mountain driving and the rain, snow, and sun that will beat down on them all year long.

We love solving problems and are grateful to EMJD's engineers and operators, who helped us solve this issue.
